Blue Period I - Quilted Wall Hanging

The idea for this modern wall hanging came to me in the middle of the night.

I wanted the joins (where the different coloured fabrics meet) to appear seamless.  After experimenting a bit I decided to hand appliqué the black and off white fabric.  After that I quilted the piece in narrow parallel lines.

On the back of the wall hanging are four corners to enable a hanging rod or a piece of batten wood to be placed (not supplied).  The wall hanging may be hung in one of four ways.

The approximate size of the wall hanging is 16¼" x 20" or W41 cms x L51 cms.

So far there I have made 3 pieces in the Blue Period collection, each different and listed separately.
