Linen Pram Quilt

This pram quilt has been made using a combination of Robert Kaufman Essex Linen  in various colours and Antwerp Linen.   The placement of the colour blocks is random. The quilt has been bound in Bordeaux Essex Linen.  The backing fabric is a modern print from Art Gallery Fabrics.

The patchwork has been quilted on the diagonal in each direction.

Good quality summer weight wadding is sandwiched between the layers.  The quilt was made on a domestic machine and finished by hand.

The approximate measurements are:  W29" x L33" or W73.5 cms x L84 cms

This is a quilt which would work well as a pram quilt for as a quilt for a prem baby.
