Vintage Kitchen Patchwork Oven Mitts

This was a fun commission.  Soon after I started up the business I was asked if I could make a pair of oven mitts.  Up until that point I had only made quilts and started to venture out and try out new products such as double oven gloves.   I had never attempted anything with thumbs, which I explained to the customer.  This didn't deter her though.

She chose fabric from the pre-cut fabric I stock and decided on Riley Blake's Vintage Kitchen, a perfect choice for oven gloves.

Much to my delight the customer was thrilled with the mitts.
