Make It Simpler Quilted Patchwork Cushion

A while ago I set myself a challenge to see what I could make from just one pack of pre-cut fabric called Make It Simpler by Robert Kaufman (fabric available if you're interested - you'll find it under the Charm Rolls link) and surprised myself by just how many pieces I've been able to make:  two baby quilts, a pair of oven gloves, four place mats and this patchwork cushion.  There is one more cushion to come too!

The envelope cushion cover is fully lined and in addition on the top side there is a layer of 100% cotton wadding between the layers.  On the reverse side I used different shades of blue to complement the front.

The cushion itself has feather filling with a poly cotton cover.  The finished size of the cushion is approximately 16" x 16"  or 41 cms x 41 cms.

The cushion cover is machine washable on a gentle setting.
