Using some pre-cut fabric in coordinating colours (Vintage Kitchen by Riley Blake),  I've made a single, double-sided, quilted pot holder with a hanging tab, which is  both pretty and practical.  I used a different print on each side.

Between the top and bottoms layers of fabric there is one layer of heat-resistant insulating wadding as well as a layer of 100% cotton wadding for extra protection.

The pot holder measure approximately 6.75" x 6.75" or 17.50 cms x 17.50 cms.

The pot holder are machine washable.

Please note:  the pot holder is heat resistant, not heat proof and care must always be taken when handling hot items.
